Code Challance And War

Its an Algorithm Based Coding Contest.

Type : Individual
Eligibility criteria - Anyone with a knack for programming.

RULES FOR ALGORITHM BASED CODING CONTEST

Rule 1 : Individual participation only.

Rule 2 : The participants can use any programming language.

Rule 3 : There will be six questions .

Rule 4 : The participant may bring their own laptop. If they don’t have the laptop, a system will be provided to them.

Rule 5 : Internet connectivity is required to conduct the competition.

Rule 6 : Attractive prizes will be provided to the winners.

Rule 7 : The competition will be similar to the programming challenges which are regularly organized on Codechef, HackerEarth, etc.

Rule 8 : GP and participation certificate will be given to all participants.

RULES FOR MODEL AND IDEA SHOWCASE



Rule 1: Team Participation. (Max 2 Members) Individual participation is also welcomed.

Rule 2:Participants will have to present their Idea/Model as neat and beautiful poster.

Rule 3: Participants may not have technical knowledge to implement the Idea/Model

Rule 4:  All the teams will have to present their Idea/Model to the jury on 15Th September,17 .

Rule 5: Changes made after the presentation will not be considered.

Rule 6: Applications will be judged on the following criteria:                        
              I. Applicability – 25Marks                        
              II. Idea – 25 Marks                        
              III. Presentation – 25 Marks                        
              IV. Poster – 25Marks 

Rule 7: Moulded existing Idea/Model are allowed but Participant should announce the Credits to the Programming club member before presentation day.

Rule 8: Top three teams will be rewarded.

Rule 9: GP will be given to all participants. 

Rule 10:  Idea/Model made should relate to the given theme.

Rule 11: Participants should not share their idea with any other person except when asked by a Programming club member on the submission date.

Rule 12: All decisions by judges with respect to any aspect of the competition are final and binding on students. They are not subject to review. 

Rule 13: The judges reserve the right to make clarifications with regards to the competition rules as deemed necessary.   

Rule 14: The competition is divided into two groups: Group I : 1st year and 2nd year students Group II : 3rd , 4th and 5th year students And prizes will be given to the team who secured 1st rank in their respective groups. Certificates will be given to the 2nd and 3rd position Holders in both the group.

RULES FOR WEB AND ANDROID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT CONTEST



Rule 1 : Team Participation. (Max 2 Members) Individual participation is also Welcomed.

Rule 2 : Applications must be Open Source and code should be posted on GitHub.

Rule 3 : The code repository link should be given to us by "13.9.17".

Rule 4 : All the teams will have to present their applications to the jury  on "15.9.17".

Rule 5 : Changes made after the presentation will not be considered.

Rule 6 : Applications will be judged on the following criteria :                        
           I. Functionality – 25Marks                        
           II. Design – 25 Marks                        
           III. Idea – 25 Marks                        
           IV. Code quality – 25Marks 

Rule 7 : Use of 3rd party libraries is permitted.

Rule 8 : Top three teams will be rewarded.

Rule 9 : GP will be given to all participants. 

Rule 10:  Web application made should relate to the given theme.

Rule 11 : The emphasis of the competition is to create an original website. Therefore, any team found to be cheating, interfering with another team, or interfering with the competition in any form, will be immediately disqualified from the competition.
